The Second Week of Lent

Sunday Gospel Reading

The Spirit drove Jesus out into the desert,
and he remained in the desert for forty days,
tempted by Satan.
He was among wild beasts,
and the angels ministered to him.

After John had been arrested,
Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the gospel of God:
“This is the time of fulfillment.
The kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

The Mysteries of the Rosary for the week:

The Sorrowful
Mysteries

1. The Agony in the Garden  2. The Scourging at the Pillar  3. The Crowning with Thorns   4.  The Carrying of the Cross
5. The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus upon the Cross

Our Lady of Fatima,
Our Lady Clothed with the Sun, protect us from all evil...

Pray for Pope Francis
We ask that God may give him strength, light and comfort.
